The dry seasons—typically from July to October and January to March—are often considered the best times for wildlife viewing, as animals gather around water sources and vegetation is less dense. This also coincides with the famous Great Migration in the Maasai Mara (July to October), a highlight for many travellers.
That said, the green seasons (rainy periods) offer their own advantages, including lush landscapes, fewer crowds, excellent birdwatching, and more competitive rates.
