Madaraka Train Time Table And Cost
Currently, there are three departures every day to and from Mombasa.
The two main stations in Nairobi and Mombasa are the Nairobi terminus located in the Syokimau area of Nairobi County which is 20 kilometers from the city center. Mombasa Terminus is located in the Miritini area of Mombasa County 11 kilometers from Mombasa CBD.
- The Inter-county train runs in the morning and makes stopovers at various points. They include Athi River, Emali, Kibwezi, Mtito Andei, Voi, Miasenyi, and Mariakani county stations.
It runs in the mornings only
Departing Nairobi at 8.00AM and arriving in Mombasa at 2.00PM with stop overs along the way
Departing Mombasa at 8.00AM and arriving in Nairobi at 2.10PM with stop overs along the way
- The Express train does not stop along the way during the journey.
It has two timings either way;
Nairobi to Mombasa Depart 3.00PM Arrival 8.30PM
Depart 10.00PM Arrival 3.45AM
Mombasa to Nairobi Depart 3.00PM Arrival 8.18PM
Depart 10.00PM Arrival 3.55AM

Madaraka train ticket booking
We charge $5 service fee per ticket. The service includes the process of booking the train. After booking, ticket reference numbers will be sent to you via email for you to print at the train station on the day you travel. We are also able to print the tickets and deliver them at extra cost. To book, please send an inquiry through our email info@kichakatours.com. We will have to check availability first before we continue with the booking process.

What we require to book the Kenya SGR train
We require the following:
Your full names, passport numbers, gender, date and time of travel, origin and destination, train, preferred class, age and nationality of the travellers.
