Day 16: Tsavo East National Park – Full Day Safari

Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy an early breakfast before setting out for a morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park. This is the best time to witness wildlife activity as the animals are most active in the cool morning hours. You may encounter herds of elephants covered in the park’s characteristic red dust, graceful giraffes browsing on acacia trees, prides of lions resting in the shade, and perhaps even a glimpse of cheetahs or leopards on the hunt.

During your exploration, you’ll have the opportunity to visit some of the park’s iconic attractions, such as the Lugard Falls, where the Galana River cascades through a series of spectacular rock formations, creating beautiful natural pools. You may also explore the Aruba Dam, a popular watering point that draws numerous animals and offers excellent photographic opportunities.

Day 17: Tsavo East National Park – Diani Beach

After an early breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the African bush as you depart Tsavo East National Park and begin your journey toward the beautiful beaches of Diani on Kenya’s southern coast. Enjoy one last en route game drive, taking in the vast open plains and perhaps spotting a few animals as you leave the wilderness behind.

You will enjoy lunch en route, with scenic views of the changing landscape as the arid savannah gradually gives way to lush coastal vegetation. The drive offers a fascinating glimpse of Kenya’s diverse geography and local life along the way.

Upon arrival in Diani Beach, you’ll be greeted by the warm tropical breeze and the friendly smiles of the resort staff as you check into your beachfront hotel. The turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, white sandy beaches, and swaying palm trees provide the perfect setting for relaxation after your safari adventure.

Days 18 & 19: Diani Beach – Relaxation and Coastal Adventures

These two days are dedicated entirely to relaxation and leisure along the stunning shores of Diani Beach, one of Africa’s most beautiful coastal destinations. After days of thrilling wildlife encounters, it’s time to unwind and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of the Kenyan coast.

Wake up to the gentle sound of waves and enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the ocean. After enjoying your final breakfast by the beach, it’s time to bid farewell to the Kenyan coast. You will be transferred to Diani/Ukunda Airstrip for your short scenic flight to Nairobi, offering one last aerial view of the turquoise waters and palm-fringed shores of the Indian Ocean.

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and driven to the famous Carnivore Restaurant, one of Nairobi’s most iconic dining experiences. Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious farewell lunch featuring a wide selection of roasted meats and traditional accompaniments, served in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

After lunch, you will be transferred back to the airport in good time for your international flight home, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan safari and beach holiday.
