Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Mombasa → Tsavo East National Park

Your adventure begins as you’re picked up from your Mombasa hotel and driven to Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest parks. On arrival, checkin and have lunch. After short relaxation head out for an afternoon game drive to see the park’s famous red-dust elephants, lions, buffalos, and over 500 bird species. Back to the lodge in the evening.

Day 2 – Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West, renowned for its stunning landscapes, lava flows, and the clear waters of Mzima Springs. On arrival, checkin and have lunch. After lunch and short rest enjoy game drives in search of elephants, rhinos, leopards, and hippos. Return back to the lodge in the evening.

Day 3 – Amboseli National Park

Depart for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. After lunch and short rest have an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is celebrated for its large elephant herds and iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro — a photographer’s dream. Back to the lodge in the evening

Day 4 – Full Day in Amboseli

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli’s wildlife and landscapes. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Some areas you can visit include observation point for panoramic views.

Day 5 – Amboseli → Lake Naivasha & Hell’s Gate

After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha, stopping at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for breathtaking scenery. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch be taken to Hell’s Gate National Park for a guided walking or cycling safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Optional boat rides on the lake are available.

Day 6 – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart lake Naivasha and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its pink-hued flamingo flocks and rhino sanctuary. Enter the park and enjoy game drives spotting Rothschild giraffes, lions, buffalos, and baboons. At around midday drive to your lodge for check in and lunch. After short rest continue with game drives. Back to the lodge in the evening.

Day 7 – Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, drive to the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving for lunch. After lunch and short rest have an afternoon game drive. After dinner you can relax around a bonfire or retire to your room for the night.

Day 8 – Full Day in Masai Mara

Explore the Masai Mara in depth with a full day of game drives. Witness dramatic predator-prey interactions. (An optionally hot-air balloon safari at sunrise can be arranged today at an extra cost.) Masai village visit is also possible today at an extra cost. You will head back to your lodge in the late afternoon. After dinner you can relax around a bonfire discusing your safari experience or retire to your room
