Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your Masai Mara safari from Nairobi begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at a panoramic viewpoint. Continue to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your camp.

After lunch and a short rest, depart for your first afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s richest wildlife reserves. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five and a wide variety of animals including cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, hippo, crocodile, and numerous antelope species. Bird lovers will also enjoy sightings of eagles, vultures, ostriches, storks, and more.
